The Lyfja app is the pioneering pharmaceutical platform in Iceland. By utilizing electronic identification, users can:

• Access an overview of prescription medications, including those available for direct purchase, prescribed doses, and those currently not accessible for procurement
• Explore details about their medications, ranging from digital information leaflets to additional insights from Lyfja's medicinal guidebook
• Apply for authorization to view and acquire medications on behalf of a third party
• Procure both prescription-required and over-the-counter medicines
• Engage in direct correspondence with the Lyfja customer service
• Receive timely notifications regarding order status changes and review transaction history within the app
• Opt to have their orders dispatched to major urban centers across the country or prepped for collection at the nearest pharmacy
• Switch between utilizing the app in Icelandic or English

A security evaluation duly verified by the Icelandic Directorate of Health has been carried out on the Lyfja app.
